Ahoy British: Why Is Disney Cruise Line More Expensive?
Today’s question comes from Danielle from Florida. She wants to know: Why is Disney Cruise Line more expensive than other cruise lines? What sets it apart?

Ahoy Danielle! Thank you for your questions!
Lisa Edwards, one of our Be Our Guest Vacations travel advisors, and I both agree that there is so much included in your Disney Cruise Line fare that is not included in other cruise lines. From the quality and delicious food in Disney-themed restaurants to the superior guest service and the incredible Disney-oriented experiences, here is why Disney Cruise Line stands out above
the rest!

Below, you can hear even more from British about the cost of Disney Cruise Line!

The Disney Cruise Line Dining Experience
One major Disney cruise difference is your dining experience. Instead of eating in the same dining room each night, you rotate through several Disney-themed restaurants during your cruise, along with having the same server team each night. In fact, a few will include character dining—all included in your fare! You’ll also notice the Disney cruise difference when it comes to beverages. While most cruise lines charge extra for juice and soda, Disney does not. All Disney Cruise Line guests can enjoy fountain soda, lemonade, juice, coffee, and tea as part of
their fare.

Well-Appointed Staterooms for the Whole Family
Did you hear about the bathrooms on a Disney cruise? There are staterooms with a split bath that allows multiple guests to get ready simultaneously. It’s the little things that matter, right? In addition, Disney Cruise Line is one of the only cruise lines that offers bathtubs onboard, and parents know how important having a tub is!

Kids Clubs with a Touch of Disney Magic
Each of the Disney Cruise Line ships has a kids club for children ages 3 to 12 called Disney’s Oceaneer Club, where you’ll find immersive theming, games, youth activities, character meet and greets, and more. There are also clubs for tweens and teens that have movies, dance parties, video games, and activities. All of these clubs are free of charge!

Spectacular Shows and Entertainment
Included in your Disney cruise fare are meet and greets with Disney characters, Disney Broadway-style shows, and deck parties. Speaking of deck parties, one of my favorite events is Pirate Night on Caribbean and Bahamas cruises. Guests dress up as pirates, and even the characters dress up in pirate garb! There’s Caribbean-inspired food everywhere and fireworks
at sea! Again, all of this is included in the cruise fare.

There are so many things that separate a Disney cruise from all the rest. Disney cruises are great for all cruisers, and an absolute must-experience for all Disney fans!
